"an invaluable tool for pharmacists"

'Connecting the patient to pharmacy' event is going to be a sell out!

'Connecting the Patient to Pharmacy' event looks like a sell-out already!

McLernon Computers and Real World Retail are delighted with the response they have received to date to their invitation to community pharmacists to attend their ‘Connecting the Patient to Pharmacy’ event, to be held in the Smurfit Clubhouse, The K Club, Straffan on Friday 14th October.

An exciting line up of speakers include Dr Johnny Walker, founder of Global Diagnostics, which develops software technologies to change the focus of healthcare from the hospital to the home. Patrick McCormack of Sam McCauley Chemists will speak on his own experience and that of McCauleys in connecting the patient to their pharmacies. Thomas McDonald of JPA Brenson Lawlor will look at how the Irish Retail Pharmacy Market is heating up and Ade Stack will speak about her own involvement with the Hugh’s House initiative.

Michael Guerin of NI’s largest pharmacy group Medicare will give a ‘view from the north’, Kevin Nolan of AzpiralPRO will speak about developing customer loyalty, John Hogan of Real World Retail will outline what he sees as the hierarchy of pharmacy business needs and Robin Hanna from McLernons will unveil the Medi Marshal app which directly connects patients with their pharmacy.

Places for the event are booking up quickly, and if you would like to attend then please contact ‘enquiries@patienttopharmacy.com’ or telephone the details on the advert in this month’s edition of IPN.

Independents (2 branches or fewer) can send one delegate at no cost, and groups (3 or more) may send two delegates. Additional places, where available, will be charged at €75 to cover catering costs.
