For a great many years McLernons have sponsored the annual outing held by the North and South Chemists’ Golf Associations and we were delighted to do so again this year.

The event, which used to rotate between some of the country’s finest courses North and South of the Border, was held this year in the sunshine at Palmerstown Golf Club.

This year saw players compete for the first time for the McLernons’ Claret Jug, a trophy to be played for in perpetuity by members of the Ulster Chemist Golf Association and the Irish Chemists Golf Society.

We had a McLernons four ball there on the day but unfortunately success eluded us and the winners of the event were:

McLernons support community pharmacy on the island of Ireland in a great many ways, with sponsorship of awards, provision of dispensing systems to Colleges and Universities and events such as the golf outing. We were delighted to see so many familiar faces on the greens at Palmerstown and look forward to seeing everyone again next year.
