The team at McLernons are delighted to continue our support of excellence in community pharmacy with the sponsorship of the ‘Independent Community Pharmacy of the Year’ award at the recent Irish Pharmacy Awards, held in Dublin on 25^th May.

McLernons have been supporting the recognition of excellence in community pharmacy since the inception of these awards because we believe that they shine a spotlight on the hard work, dedication and professionalism of community pharmacies up and down the country.

This year’s award was given to the independent community pharmacy that has been able to demonstrate how they enhance patient care, build team spirit and show innovation and forward thinking in the way in which they deliver care to their communities.

Congratulations to all our finalists in what was a tightly contested category – Finnegan’s Pharmacy, Dublin, Lilly’s Pharmacy, Ratoath, Corach Pharmacy, Wellingtonbridge and particular congratulations to the winners,  Village Pharmacy, Carlingford.

A  huge thank you is also due to all the hard working, innovative and caring community pharmacy teams throughout the country who continue to deliver high quality patient care in these straitened financial times.

Unfortunately, there can only be one winner and we are delighted to congratulate Siobhan and her team in Carlingford on their multiple successes on the evening, and are delighted to be her pharmacy IT partner.
