McLernons supports its customers in many different ways, from our dedicated local trainers and engineers around the country to supporting innovation in community pharmacy with our sponsorship of pharmacy awards which recognize excellence in practice.

We support the IPU with our attendance as an exhibitor at its annual conference and we have sponsored the Annual North South Chemists Golf outing for over a decade.

This year’s event was held in the Hermitage Golf Club in Lucan, Dublin, and there was a great turn out from pharmacists north and south of the Border

.

Robin Hanna, Director, and some of our McLernons team enjoyed the opportunity to renew old acquaintances and meet new faces on a wonderful day of golf, and  we were  delighted that our own Marc McGaughey claimed the Open competition with Northern pharmacist Brendan Wilson winning the individual competition and the Warner Lambert Park Davis Cup, with Pat Downey, Bernard Crombie, Gerry O’Neill and Kevin Moran winning the other prizes and the Southern ICGS retained the BDH cup.

Irish Chemists Golfing Society President Tim O’Malley thanked McLernons for their continued support and plans are already underway for next year’s North South event.
