Congratulations to Michelle and the team at Pharmacy Hub, Tallaght, winners of the McLernons’ Community Pharmacy of the Year award!

The team at McLernons were delighted to continue our support of excellence in community pharmacy with the sponsorship of the ‘Independent Community Pharmacy of the Year’ award at this year’s Irish Pharmacy Awards, held in Dublin last weekend.

We  have been supporting the recognition of excellence in community pharmacy since the inception of these awards because we believe that they shine a spotlight on the hard work, dedication and professionalism of community pharmacies up and down the country.

This year’s award was  given to the Pharmacy Hub in Tallaght – an independent community pharmacy that has been able to demonstrate how they enhance patient care, build team spirit and show innovation and forward thinking in the way in which they deliver care to their communities.

There was a huge field of entries for the award, resulting in five pharmacies making the shortlist. Congratulations to all five finalists but also a huge thank you to all the hard working, innovative and caring community pharmacy teams throughout the country who continue to deliver high quality patient care in these straitened financial times.
